In June 2004 Gregor, while climbing a cliff trail in Italy, fell and broke his right wrist. Unable to paint right-handed, he developed a series of left-handed paintings. When the cast came off, he continued to paint a series of right-handed versions of his left-handed efforts. He named this series of paintings "Vibrascapes".
